This painting embraces the power of nature in a more abstract matter because in a way everything is abstract. Even the world we see is the result of how our own brain perceives experiences. It is through our past memories and experiences that we perceive our reality and nature has such a calming effect on a rattling brain. The concept of time is of special interest for me as a painter and though this body of work I try to create traces of memory, time and place.
